These guys bought wine for Winemasters from us as well. They claimed it was spoiled when it turns out upon analysis it was damaged during excessive heat during transit. Even though they purchase FOB (take possession at our truck dock) we wanted to keep the customer so we ate the cost of the wine. We wanted to take it back but they "destroyed" it before we could pick it up. We never saw any official records of the wine being destroyed then saw it online for sale at one of their retailers a few months later.

Watch out for doing business with Classic Wines and Genesis, April 20, 2010

Classic handles distribution for a broker located in NJ/NY/CT called Genesis.Genesis then sells wine into a group in NJ called Wine Masters.

The problem with this group is that they take advantage of small producers paying them well in first year of doing business and then in subsequent years does not pay using your money to fund the next project (wines from a new producer they intend to not pay). What you will find is all point fingers at each other of who's problem it is in not paying you. In other words they run you in circles amongst each other delaying payment. Finally they end up not even returning your calls or emails. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! You will be taken advantage of and be out a great deal of money. Presently they are over 270 days late in paying my winery.
